Leaving in the morning, we’ll arrive when the sun begins to warm the countryside. After a good breakfast with homemade cakes and hot coffee, we will enter the natural silence of the woods, with the hunter, his dog and the guide, looking for precious truffle.
Around 11am we will hike back to the “fattoria” for a refreshment, then we will start cooking our truffle lunch.
For “aperitivo time” we will visit the cellar and taste their wines and some typical products: local cold cuts, cheese and bruschetta. On our way to lunch we will stop at the local frantoio (oil mill) to see how olives turn in the precious Brisighella extravirgin olive oil.
Then back to the kitchen to prepare our handmade pasta with the rolling pin (yes you will do it!) and finally our lunch with the wonderful truffle will be ready.
We return to Bologna around 4pm.
There is flexibility: if you would like to add more wine tastings to your day, we can plan visits to top local cellars on our way back.
This a very private tour; to completely enjoy our experience with the hunter we are limited to 2 or 3 persons per day.
