Bolognese cooking
All these classes are private and on request, so there is no calendar. Just write an email and choose your favourite day and dish!
Those who want to broaden their knowledge of local cooking and homemade pasta can book an afternoon, or a morning, to try their hands at making our famous fresh pasta and, of course, the even more famous Bolognese Sauce, and discover all our grandmothers’ tricks and secrets.
Tagliatelle, filled pasta (tortellini, tortelloni, ravioli…), coloured pasta or classical bolognese lasagna can all be prepared, according to preference.
Naturally at the end of all this hard work we can enjoy the results with a tasty meal!
Classes go from a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 8, but larger groups can also be considered.
We can offer different classes:
- basic pasta: tagliatelle (hand made fresh pasta), bolognese sauce and a dessert 70€ per person, inclusive of lunch or dinner and notes containing the recipes.
- basic and filled pasta: tagliatelle, tortelloni (filled with ricotta cheese), bolognese sauce and a dessert 80€ per person, inclusive of lunch or dinner and notes containing the recipes.
- classical lasagna: fresh pasta, bolognese sauce, bechamel sauce and a dessert 70€ per person, inclusive of lunch or dinner and notes containing the recipes.
- pasta and meat: fresh pasta at your choice, bolognese sauce or other sauce depending on pasta, cotoletta alla bolognese (veal cutlet with parma ham and parmesan) or zucchini ripieni (zucchini filled with meatball mix) 80€ per person, inclusive of lunch or dinner and notes containing the recipes.
Special prices for the guests of Casa Ilaria B&B and for groups. Group rates can be arranged in advance.
A course of 3 lessons costs 200€.
On request, before the class, we can arrange a guided shopping tour of the market and the shops in the old town centre, to get to know the various products and learn to choose them and, why not, take home some inviting gastronomic souvenirs!
The cost is 20€ per person, for a minimum of 2 people.
